Re: Don't Use ACH for Chase Account Funding!!

Is this the same as a direct deposit from my employer or is that different from ACH people are talking about on here?

I’m a new chase customer and have set up my DD to chase and it should have my paycheck and yearly bonus from work coming through any day now.

Different, and there's a some unsubstantiated FUD in this thread anyway frankly though the original post has some anecdotal evidence at least.

You'll be fine, is exactly how I setup my original Chase account too FWIW.

Chase has also started charging a fee for incoming ach payments.  That is a fee for a DEPOSIT!  Makes me get medieval just thinking about it!

This is not true. I regularly do both ACH pushes and pulls with my Chase checking account, and there have never been any charges.
