No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
The CFPB will deny your claim under the FCRA.
Early Warning does not resell your information for marketing purposes and only provides a report under permissible purpose under the FCRA so they are not obligated to let you opt-out.
They are required to provide you with an annual credit report free as well as a free report if you are ever denied credit or face an adverse action because of data contained in their report to lenders.

Hello,
I was a victim of the dreaded Equifax breech as half of America
I uploaded document over the last 18 months to Equifax as they requested
They recently sent me a letter stating my uploaded documents including my
drivers license
Social security card
Passport and passport card (I uploaded both for verification)
And birth certificate
We’re all exposed or breeched
I filed a police report and placed fraud alerts. Now in the proccess if doing extends fraud alerts
Also placed security freezes and got pins
Did this for all the bureaus I could locate on the ftc site
CHEX SYSTEMS
TRANSUNION
EQUIFAX
EXPERIAN
INNOVIS
SAFE STRESM
ARS
Lexis Nexis
many more...
However when I got To Early Warning they did not allow a fraud statement, alert, freeze, or opt out
How can this be if they are a consumer reporting agency...???
I opened a complain with the CFPB we shall see how that pans out... I am going to write to state and Us representative and senate on this
my data should be my control
Anyone successful in freezing or opting out of early warning?
JTC - didn't you already have a freeze on most of your CRs? And, as ABCD pointed out, EWS will be a no-go.

I did have a freeze on them since I head of the breech
I always had the major three frozen
But I decided to freeze everything with the amount of data breeched
I do not know how they cannot offer to freeze the bureau. Redicoulous
Why does chexsystems offer freeze and opt out? Because they should. Seems EWS just doesn’t want to.... I plan on bringing this to the FTC and legislature ... personal data should be mine to control
Check your state laws regarding the credit freeze. EWS is based in Arizona and the laws allow for an exception to them protecting them from having to freeze based on "specialty reporting." Luckily in Missouri, there is no state law allowing an exception like that so I will cite the Missouri state law which says they have to allow me to freeze it. If they still refuse, time for a lawsuit. I will also file a CFPB complaint citing my state law being violated.
Check your state laws and consult an attorney versed in consumer affairs.
