Ever heard of Lafayette funding?

DW got a pre approved mailer from them today...looks to good to be true.

She's preapproved for a debt consolidation loan of 70k with a 3.89 interest rate.

I've never heard of them.  Have you?

Interesting. I've not heard of this place but that sure is a good rate.

She will take a hit of course if she applies... I did look around a bit on the site and it is hard to find information on how it all works.

I wonder if that low pre-approval is just a teaser? I'll be curious to learn what you all end up doing.

Right now, we're doing NOTHING.

A little bit of googling revealed that they seem to be a "lead generator" for mortgage lenders.
