The only issue I have with fidelity CMA account is the extremely long wait time for the "pending" cash to be available. I sent $800 from another bank to fidelity on May 28th and it still haven't cleared to be available yet. Am I doing something wrong or is this just the norm? I do see the 10 day wait time message come up sometimes but it's not always a long wait for my cash to be available.

did you push the money from the other bank or did you use fidelity to pull the money from the other bank?
never, never, never pull money using fidelity CMA
Push from and to Fidelity. 2-3 days hold. But, larger checks my take longer. I had a $1,500 check mailed from my bank when I set up my HSA and it was about 2 weeks before it was available. Remember, Fidelity is not a bank. They use a number of partner banks and things time to travel through the system.

Ok now that I know I will never pull money with fidelity CMA again lol This wait time is ridiculous.
I agree that the fidelity hold time for pulls and check deposits is unreasonable. I have a business account with them and the hold times on that are even longer. They were hit with lots of fraud last year so they put these measures in place.
I just do Pushes for now, and if its a large check deposit I have to do it with an actual bank and then push it over. Very Annoying, but other than that they are one of the best to deal with.
