I use their services to be able to lock/unlock my reports at will. I find it easier than going through the freeze/thaw routine and less glitchy. Plus I have to pay $10 for each freeze/thaw anyway.
It doesn't really help with apping that much because if you want it bad enough you'll find a way to app anyway
