My gripe with Amazons tablets is the whole lack of Google Playstore.. yes it can "usually" be sideloaded in but its not for the average user and the Amazon store is lacking in apps esp ones that folks expect on Android... Samsung has been slow to nonexistant to upgrade Android... I wanted a new tablet but this has kinda stopped me.. ended up going with a convertable chromebook but still would rather have a more portable go-to device thats bigger than a phone/phablet where i can actually have an enjoyable browsing experience and not just rely on Az's crappy browser and my dislike of Touchwiz....
Im mixed on Apples Tablets.. they are nice but not high on the bang for buck... But with Worst Buys deals.. it is a bit tempting.. I dont like Face ID... I miss the Nexus 7 and similar Google Tablets but google does not really support my med devices like Healthkit does...

I have never heard of an employer reporting to unemployment that an offer was turned down. You can also accept the first offer and if you get a better one simply tell the first employer you got a better offer. They might even counteroffer if they really want you.
