Update on the engine block coffee table. Got the new legs done, made out of 1 1/4" aluminum tube. Much better.

DW is ridiculous busy this afternoon... I get to cook... OK. I can read a recipe. She even arranged all of the ingredients for me...
What the Fico is an "Oven proof skillet?"
Halp.
Quickly.
Oh I know this one
You put skillet in the oven and wait to see what happens. If it starts smelling bad, probably not safe
or
It's an oven that does not mind having a visit from skillet

I'm not quite as dumb as she gives me credit for.

I may go back and tig weld all the way around the legs I was in a bit of a hurry.
Next part now is to figure out the glass, but I think I will stick with the 1 1/4" tubing, seems to be really sturdy.

There's going to be a day when she realizes that her mom was right about things a lot more often than not.
The interesting part is how long it will take after that to actually admit it to you.
