Anyway checking in, some time is going to free up in another few weeks as one of the gigs moves to half time and I'm looking forward to that. My spending from the new home and everything else has been curtailed finally, and I'm just on maintenance mode from a budgeting perspective. Nice and easy.
Credit wise I couldn't get over USBank's hurdle from back in late May, so back here for a while as stated in last month's checkin but I don't have any fixed exit condition that isn't a half decade out so we'll see. Absurdly more likely to be closing cards through the remainder of this year than opening them, though I'm likely just going to leave them idle and see what the lenders do... for science!
Anyway off to get some coffee as I need to get things done at all 3 gigs this morning and bleh. I was within striking distance of being all caught up this past weekend, so two day sprint into the holiday and I can have it off. Cheers, best of plans and luck et al. everyone!
Well so much for that.
Read in the LA paper they got the go ahead to redevelop an old building for middle income housing with a grocery store on the ground floor. 1 block away from the old place.
Not selling the condo now, wasn't quite a food desert before but that was the sort of play I was expecting when I originally moved into the place.
Refinancing the condo now and just going to leave it empty for 2-3 years. Reset of garden expectations and planning went awry because I wasn't paying attention to LA at all and apparently missed the zoning memo. May suddenly hit the trifecta at this point in the next few years and that could put another 100-150K on it.
1) Grocery Store
2) SpaceX finally going in down by the port
3) Biker bar across the street going under and being redeveloped to something more appropriate to rising property values
**bleep** it updating signature twice in one day.
Admittedly, this is what you are supposed to garden for: keep your score high enough that when opportunity does strike you can hit it with a vengeance. Mid score 770, cuts nearly $1000/mo out of my expenses.
Nice

I do not think any bank luvs me, I think they are watching out for their own Assets. (I do have Chase cards)
