I am slightly ticked off because it's just a sore reminder that "they" can do whatever they want with impunity because what am I going to do? Hit them with a lunch pail? Pull their hair? Write complaints that nobody cares about?

I just learned today that you can indeed, sue the bureaus if a mistake on your report by them is causing you financial harm. The key is to request your free annual report before suing them. If you purchase a report from them, there is an arbitration agreement that prevents it.
