A lot of times its not how much you make but how much you spend that determines savings. As i said before dw and I own a small business. Our over head is as low as possible. We have watched many competing firms come and go. Right now within 50 miles of us I know 4 firms about to go out of business. Each time one folds we take over their clients.

I am am putting in with company match 20k a year into 401k. and 2k a year into 529 plan. Trying to increase saving account money. Opened second savings account for long term savings as tend to use primary for vacations.
