Just came across a website that has yrly savings plan. I tried to get a link but was unsucessful but if you google 52 weekly money challege several plans will show up, Good luck if you try it.
I have $15,000 saved right now. Going to keep building that up. Yeah, I'm 29 and living with my mom, but I won't be the laughing stock of society when I pay cash for a new house in about 3-4 years.

Just curious but why buy a house with cash when so much information regarding credit can be found here?

Savings: around $2500
I try not to spend any money from tax refunds and I just stick them in my savings. Been doing it for the last few years. My job has a ESOP program and I'm nearing my 10th year with the company. 100% vested with about $62K. I'll be able to withdraw 10% of it by next spring, which I'm projected to be around $80K by then.
I also am trying to put back a dollar each week like this: Week 1-$1; Week-$2; Week 3-$3, ect. I think I calculated it to be around $1300 by the final week of the year.

roughly 7K in savings at the moment
3500 in student loan debt. Still in school so not paying that off yet.
Am paying for college myself but was very lucky with well paying summer jobs and great scholarships and work during the year.
My goal for this year is to increase my savings to 10K and possibly open a vanguard IRA
