Is Lending Club friendly to Bankruptcies?

Hi, not sure what category to post this under but just wondering if anyone here has ever been approved for a loan from lending club with a bankruptcy on your report?

Did you do the pre-approval link that they offer?

Not yet because I'm waiting for a payoff to update to my credit so my score goes up. Not sure if it matters for the preapproval.

Oh wow that's great. My bankruptcy ch 7 is very fresh (discharged Nov 2019) so I'm hesitant to even apply. I got my score up to 650 and I'm mostly just trying for a $5k loan.

May we ask why a loan already out of BK. Trying to build credit?

Re: Is Lending Club friendly to Bankruptcies?

That makes me a little hopeful. Credit karma continuously suggest secured credit cards and sub prime credit cards so I have my concerns about what I'll be able to do with my scores where they are but hoping for a boost once this payoff updates. I am happy to hear that they aren't against bankruptcies though.

you should be good . My scores were similar to yours at the time they pulled TU my score was 614. I just paid the remaining balance of my loan last week I had about 6 more payments left but wanted to get it out of the way
