Navy are giving out VERY poor credit limit approvals. I am looking for a new Credit Union to join that is offereing HIGH credit limits like Navy Did in the past! I hope you guys can help.
FICO scores?
FICO 8 they rage from 711-780
You might give Alliant a shout. I joined Penfed, then Alliant. Got a 14k sl from Penfed; asked Alliant for 10k, received 15k sl.
I have $50k limit on my Penfed Visa gold card. But keep in mind Penfed's maximum exposure for unsecured is $50k. You wont get more than that.

I haven't noticed a difference since I've regained membership with them.
Was just approved for 10k yesterday morning on my NavyFed Platinum...
If you are in the San Antonio area, RBFCU rules.
PenFed seems to be a good alternative. I do not think that NFCU stopped giving high SL. I was recently approved for 24k on the Flagship Visa, 2-3 months back. My scores were also in the low 600's at the time.
The lady I spoke with on the phone did emphasize that your history with NFCU is a big factor in the decision process, if not more important than your FICO. I do not know how much truth there is in this but seeing how I was approved with a high SL and I have been with them since 88 it only makes sense.
