Looking to Consolidate CC's, what should I do?

Hey All, Looking to consolidate all my cards and have read Lightstream is good, but for my DTI, Util, and Score, it's probably not gonna get approved. So I'm hoping someone can point me in a better direction. CK and WN list some fairly high % loans.

  • Debt: $9,800
  • Income: $28,800
  • Cards: 9
  • Util: 50%
  • Score: 588 TU and EQ (down from 625 due to going over CL on one card)
  • Derogs: 0
  • Inquiries: 4
  • Payment History: 99% (Missed one payment with Discover whilst in hospital, two years ago, they won't budge, ugh)

I can knock down at least 3-4 of these cards pre-application (4 are holding less than $600) if need be, and get the one card that's over extended under it's CL, so get my score up a wee bit. So I'd ultimately be looking to consolidate 5 cards with around $7,500-$8,000 debt. Any feedback or assistance at who I should go to for the best rates and approval potential is apprecited.

If you can get EVERY card under 88% of it's limit, you'll see a nice score increase.

An unsecured loan at a 588 credit score is hard to do.

Good luck!

Zero percent financing is where the devil lives...
