Anyone discover any new ways to obtain mebership other than the obvious ???

This has been discussed in detail over numerous threads the San Diego connection was killed off over a year ago, no way around NFCU qualifications other than being a Vet, active or having a family member that was. PenFed, on the other hand, does not require prior military service so you might check out their site.

Unfortunately, there are no more backdoor ways to get into Navy Federal.  

Penfed is another good to join as is SDFCU.
