Not going to use the first card for more than a monthly subscription + SD, so I may as well start the clock on 91/3.

Doing that is throwing away $150-250. Unless you can't hit the spend, it's free money. SUBs should be back 3/2 so barely over a month.

When the SUB's come back do the balance transfer offers go away?

Usually on all except the Platinum, which doesn't get SUB anyhow. Platinum is geared to BT.

And thus why I got it in Decembre hombreSmiley Very Happy

Re: NFCU Membership Approval

Holy cow, I am in NFCU too! After reading about the ability to join via a Grandparents service, I gave it a go. My grandfather was honorably discharged from the US Army in 1931. I have his discharge papers and various paperwork to prove my relationship to him. NFCU never requested this, they did not even ask for my grandfathers name, just what branch. Made me a bit vnervous, but 2 weeks later I am a member. If they circle back for an audit, I have the documents in hand.

Pretty stoked to start my relationship with NFCU, thanks FICO Forum for the great info.

Personal cards:
Amex Cash Magnet
Chase Freedom Flex World MasterCard
Discover It
NFCU Flagship Visa Sig
NFCU More Rewards Amex
US Bank Cash+ Visa Sig
Business cards:
Amex Blue Business Cash (Hidden TL)
FICO 8 Scores: EX 813 | EQ 819 | TU 813
Will answer questions about underwriting.
