Navy Federal Locked My Account

It just says to call Navy Fed. When I do they say I have to go to a branch which happens to be 30 miles away. What the hell is this! I only had $10 in a savings account but still!

Possibly someone tried to use your account fraudulently?

Maybe they just need to see your ID in person?

How long you been a member for?  Supply all the paperwork and eligible to be a member?  If so take a 30 mile drive on a day off to get it resolved as really not that far.  Had to see a DR this morning and was a 35 mile drive and was nice to get out of my working from home for a change.

At least Op isnt 1,000 miles  away like some of us. Navy locking accounts could be anything from fraud to not meeting membership requirements  after internal audit. Definetly take a drive as they are worth keeping

Its definitely worth the 30 mile drive to straighten it out. My closest branch is 120 miles away in Cleveland and I would head on up there to work it out. 

Sorry you gotta got to branch but probably just an ID issue.

@howellco2, Have you checked to see if they have a CO-OP ATM near you?

I found one close to me and deposited funds for an SSL, before I could deposit $3010 through the phone APP.
