New Capital One ios version doesn’t pay bills

Apparently Capital One failed to test their ios application in the latest release which freezes up also also doesn’t work to pay bills.  I left feedback inside the application so they can fix the application.  It was working perfect in previous release.  Sometimes I wonder if banks do this to stall billpayments to keep funds longer and increase fees for the bank.  Hopefully a new release is issued soon.

Using Capital One (non 360 though it may be the same application) on ipad mini 4 with latest ios 12.1.1

Capital One is on a monthly schedule for ios releases.  I had an American Express version also fail fo pay bills which was resolved when a new version came out awhile back.  Fortunately I can use the website to pay bills.  I don’t know if the ATM Machines also allow bill payments to payees that were setup.  There is no Apple Pay feature like Wells Fargo and Chase has now for the ATMs.

It won’t work to pay bills from checking account to payees.

Re: New Capital One ios version doesn’t pay bills

They quickly updated the app with a new version which doesn’t work either and is worse than before.  All new releases have been with a .0 at the end.  The defective two releases started with a .1 instead and went up to a .2 release, also defective.  They are on a monthly update cycle so they will likely update application again and hopefully the next one works..

I can login manually to pay my bills via the internet website instead which is a hassle.  While I am not switching my account over at this time, I need an alternative bill payment account to pay bills so I am looking at alternatives.  I will try out both the Wells Fargo Greenhouse and Chase Finn products to see if they have better mobile banking.
