Opening Chase Checking act after llB BK7?

Couldn't find the answer after a search so if anyone knows please let me know.

My BK7 isn't discharged yet, but I closed my checking account with Chase as I had a Chase Amazon card included in my bankruptcy. Will I be able to reopen my checking account with Chase after discharge?

OP, I have not had any experience with Chase banking, only with their CC's. Hopefully someone will chime in to help you out with your question. My thoughts might be that Chase might decline your request for another checking account for "previous negative relationship". Lets see what others say....

Difference situation as I didn't close my checking accounts with JPM when I filed chapter 13 (I did burn them on 3 CC's) and JPM never bothered me at all, checking accounts remain open (heck they even failed to file a proof of claim on the CC's)....my attorney said JPM is very BK friendly so it can't hurt to see if they'll let you reopen it
