This might be my favorite approval stemming from my post-closing app spree!
As I've commented on other threads, I have a PL from Payoff which is through First Tech Fed CU. Payoff hasn't been the best to deal with (taking 3-6 weeks to apply payments correctly). So I went on my FTFCU account and applied for a PL of the balance.
I received an email saying "Thank you for loan application. We are unable to approve your loan request at this time. If you have additional information not provided on the initial application and would like the decision reconsidered, please contact us directly at -email- or -number-."
I emailed back explaining my dissatisfaction with Payoff and that I'd prefer to pay them directly, included my current payment amount/rate, and also noted that my current Fico scores are ~100pts higher than when the loan was first issued.
Received an email back stating the loan was approved! They lowered the rate a little bit and extended the remaining term. 
Editing to add: and now I'm 100% in the GARDEN.
