PenFed $50 ACH transfer limit?

I got a surprise today. I tried to transfer $100 from Penfed to FKFCU and I was told I’m limited to $50.
How long is this limit in place? Are ACH transfers initiated from other institution also affected?

6 months, after that the limit is 5k. No limit when initiated from a linked external account.
