I got a Cash Rewards Visa from Penfed in May and a Home Equity LOC in August and they didn't report them until the first statement. They're not like Barcalys Or Synchrony, which report a new account within a day or so of opening.
As for the statement date, Penfed CCs seem to report on different days of the month, buyt my HELOC always reports on the end of the month consolidated statement with checking & savings. I would think a personal loan would be the same end of month, but hopefully someone with a Personal loan will confirm.
