Prior Dependent and Stimulus Question

Hello All,

2018 I was included in my mother's Tax Return as an adult dependant. This year after becoming financially independent (other than living in her home) I was not claimed on her 2019 Return. She just filed this last week and I filed mine in February. So my question is.. would I recieve my stimulus?

Re: Prior Dependent and Stimulus Question

Yes. You filed your own claim for 2019 which supercedes whatever happened in 2018. Government will use most recent claim on file (if any) to determine who gets a check and for how much
