Service CU major update

**bleep**, was looking forward to this... but ultimately denied membership because of Chex.

SO it seems Service CU is now soft pulling all 3 credit bureaus and chex.

So if you want an account make sure they are all open.

Weird, I have never seen this before.

They are also requiring drivers license back and front., utility bills and ss card

I think the myFICO effect has been really throwing this smaller CUs off.

I only opened a savings account and the still pulled Chex.

So these small credit unions are getting hit hard, and are getting a bit flustered.

I am wondering if to apply for a loc and credit before a big charge hits my credit report this week.

I think I will take the gamble.

Also will move 500 into savings as te savings rate is 5.0%.

I havnt seen 5% in a long time, but then again, I havnt been looking

Don't expect any credit products. Between the MF effect and Covid, they have already swung the credit policies hard. So just be prepared to waste a HP, although I hope you have good luck.
