At a high-level, my SO and I:
- 3x 401k are mostly in various ETFs and target date funds, but there's a few individual positions
- 403b is 100% ETFs (plan to roll it over to the 401s someday)
- 2x Roth IRAs are a mix of individual and ETFs
- HSA is almost entirely invested across 5 ETFs
- 4x taxable brokerage accounts that are almost entirely individual positions
- A small hodgepodge of private investments through services like Mainvest
Across all of this, the breakdown of ETF/fund to individual holdings in terms of total portfolio is in the neighborhood of 50/50, though has been starting tip toward a larger individual holding as our taxable brokerage contributions have been exceeding what we can put into tax-advantaged accounts for several years now.
I don't factor any real estate equity or art/collectible holdings into our assets in terms of financial planning, so it's not relevant.
California rental properties (an apartment building and a few houses)
