30 day late from 2014 fell off. +28 points

I had a 30 day late on a mortgage fall off my EX this morning. (It fell off TU months ago, leaving my TU about the same amount higher.)Screenshot_20201025-130609.png

Yup, 30 day lates dont always lessen after a few years, this is an example proving it. Grats on the nice move up

Do we know that its effect hadn't lessened for OP? I'm not being snarky; I'm genuinely curious. My sense was that a lone 30D takes away more points (50? 60? more?) when it's recent and it shrinks to around 30 points by the time it's about 3 years old. OP's good fortune validates the second half of that. Do we have good DPs on the first half?
