So my DH got an alert from myfico that his score increased, so now it's a 592. We didn't do anything new yet, but one of the explanations given was that a negative might be having less of an impact. It's only a little bit, but every little bit counts, right? It was a pleasant surprise, considering I wasn't even paying attention to scores.

Depending on how long your credit history is, your score could go up a few points each month just due to passing time and being more established. That's what happens for me.
