Re: 800 club

The 800 club....I feel like that's something that I will never get to. My app finger is probably too itchy. Then again, once I get to a place where I like what cards I have and my house is in order, maybe I won't be looking and I'll garden enough to get there. In about 20 years.

Who am I kidding...there's always a new card!

Dabears,

As you may have notice, I've been pretty absent from the boards this past week.  This is due to me attending a training seminar in how to deal with people in a non-violent manner and how to de-esculate a situation before it has a chance to go bad.

It didn't work!!!!!!!!!    LOL...  Smiley Happy

j/k   It feels good to be back.

Better watch out DaBears.  It didn't work.

Re: 800 club

You'll get there Mauve...

10 years ago i could not even open a bank account in my own name when a good friend sat me down and explained how credit works, and how to manage it.  I just received my Amex card and along with it came the letter disclosing my Fico at 815.  I was floored, but it's true, if I got there anyone ought to be able to!

Re: 800 club

WOW this feels great!!!  Just checking my credit score from the source, whereas used to CreditKarma, I couldn't believe my eyes!!!  Hey girls and guys, just wanna encourage you all to stay ahead of your payments and limit the hard inquiries and, of course, a host of other attributes, and your score will get so much better.  These are the scores I see.  Mind you, 40 years old, 19 years of credit history, no car pmt, pay CC's each month, 3% credit usage:

7/25/2013

EQ-802

EX-811

TU-805

This jumped HUGE because a bit over a year ago, I had two hard inquiries back to   back....no problem, them this past December 2012 I went for a new truck, but didn't get it, but the bank did an inquiry and that put me one inquiry over and my score took a leap off a Cliff!!!  Anyhow one of the older inquiries fell off and bam!  Right back up and over record highs.  I'm so happy and I want you all to get there.  Don't have to be over 800 to be a star though.

Best of hopes, Fico Family....
