Situation:
I'm 22. I have a wife and 3 beautiful children. I am new to MyFico as of June, so I am a little late to the challege; so any advice that would help me achieve success is for sure welcomed and wanted! I need to get to at LEAST 640 for the USDA loan for Mortgage, but I have bigger goals
Starting Scores (Jun 24, 2015):EQ:591 EX:562 TU:567
Current Scores (July 3, 2015) : EQ:591 EX:562 TU:580
Positives:
I have the following open accounts now and they are PERFECT as far as Payment History and Utilization:
Credit Cards:
First Premier $300 (Opened Dec 2014) $0 Balance
CapOne $300 Secured (Opened Feb 2015) $2 Balance
Badcock Furniture $300 (Opened Feb 2015) $104 Balance
Fingerhut Advantage $200 (Opened Mar 2015) $0 Balance.
Loans:
Credit Acceptance (Auto Loan) (Opened May 2015) $9594
NCSECU (Opened May 2015) $960
Negatives:
USAA Credit Card $300 (Opened Sept 2011) Settled for Less than Full; $0 Balance (Paid in Feb 2015, but is still reporting as Charge Off Every Month)
AFCU Credit Card $500 (Opened Oct 2011) Paid In Full; $0 Balance* (Paid in Full in May 2015, but still hasn't reported to any Credit Bureaus as Paid* so it still shows I owe $500)
Collections:
*When I paid some of these Collections off, I was "PFD Naive", I didn't even know about the option until it was too late*
Interstate Credit Collections (July 2012) $114 with $0 Balance; Showing Paid in Full
Enhanced Recovery (Sprint) (Aug 2012) $575 with $0 Balance; Showing Settled for Less (I called Sprint and ERC for GW and ERC said no but Sprint said I still have a balance, since it was a settlement, can I work this to my advantage and possibly get a PFD?? For both ERC and Sprint???)
Southwest Credit Systems (Windstream) (Aug 2013) with $217 Balance; I am disputing this for DV currently
Tek-Collect (Capital Bank) (Feb 2013) with $104 Balance; Currently doing a PFD
National Credit Adjusters (Aaron's) (Feb 2013) with $966 Balance; Planning on DV because I know they have inflated the debt
Inquiries:
30 in 2 Years
(I know, I am dumb! But I have disputed quite a few and some are due to fall off in the upcoming months of 2015)
AGAIN: ANY advice or tips would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! I am open to almost anything, except Illegal & Unethical Practice
Have you tried to GW the paid one yet? Especially since it's a couple of years old now. I just had a heartening success getting *5* PIFs (same CA, though) dropped from my hubby's CR.

Once you get your balances all on one card and get the charge off reporting paid, app for unsecured cap one card.

Interstate Credit will NOT budge. I mean they flat out lay it out to you. Not just a Rep but the VP of the company
You sure about that?

Trust me... I've already filed a complaint with BBB but they still won't budge.. But I'm going to forward that forum to ICC and tell them it's discrimination for doing it for one person and not the other
How long have you been trying? It took me a year to get one 30-Day removed, a whole year. I understand your frustration that others have been more furtunate than you up until this point but I'm not sure how making a complaint about that fact will help your situation. What is your goal with the complaint, what do you hope to accomplish with it?

I have a handsigned document, on a Company Letter Head, from the VP stating that it has never been done for anyone before, and that it is against their policy. I haven't sent out the complaint yet, but I did send the VP another email with the information I have. I'm sure he doesn't want this measly $114 debt to escalate. I mean it was over a LeBleu water delivery. It's not like I owed a Major Credit Card company thousands of dollars. It's $114. Just delete it and move on with it. But I will NOT be told a boldface lie.
While you didn't answer my question directly I believe your intent here in to intimidate the OC into deleting a valid credit history. I'm not sure where you feel this could esclate to - the VP stated the company has not in the past, nor is it their policy, to delete credit history. It is beyond my experience to know if indeed he is lying what law/regulation he is breaking although I would not be surprised if it was something. That said, where is your proof? Some posts on an online blog from a unidentified person who may or may not be telling the truth?
You are frustrated, I understand that, but I do not beleive your approach will lead you to your goal of getting the credit line removed. That does remain your goal, correct? Or, based on what you percieve as the VP not being forthright with you has your goal changed?
