AFNI grrrrr

WELL it appears I really do owe this debt, haha. I have two collections from AFNI on my cr. I sent a debt validation letter to recoveryteam@afni.com. They responded and validated in about 2 hours!

I immediately responded with a PFD settlement offer, about 40% on one and 20% on the other. These fall off April and June of 2014 so I want them off. I guess we will see what happens, but I bet they decline. -__-

I'll update when I hear back. Cat Frustrated

Thank you for your inquiry.  Your account will be reported to all 3 major credit reporting agencies as closed and paid after a payment of the balance due posts.  We do not exchange credit deletions for payments.

Re: AFNI grrrrr

thanks llecs, I already mailed them off today. Ironically I got a letter in the mail today from them that offered a settlement for 49 bucks, which is what I offered them in the PFD lol! So now I'm going to reword my PFD to mail them that says I'm agreeing to their settlement if they delete. Smiley Tongue

Thanks John! What exactly would you suggest I say to him? I don't want to reset the SOL and admit that the debt is mine! Smiley Surprised
