AM I worrying for nothing? PFD questions

Hola!  I recently paid off a $400 collection with Portfolio Recovery,  I have a written agreement for PFD and thought it is a clear win.

Today my fico shows a 1-2 point increase to my 3 scores because of the  $400 drop in debt..not a deleted trade line.

my questions are; is this normal..will there be more improvement to come?  It is showing on CK (I know fako) as a zero balance but still existing collection. my vantage scores soared 76 and 85 points respectively. Have they only reported it paid? or is this the first step in a process?

anything you can tell me would alleviate my anxiety

Thank you!

Re: AM I worrying for nothing? PFD questions

"Your account will be considered paid-in-full or paid-in-full for less than the full balance after your final payment is successfully posted. Within approximately 30 days of your final payment successfully posting, we will request the credit reporting agencies delete the PRA tradeline related to your account from your credit bureau report."

Vantage sites are much quicker than FICO updates at times. Give it some more time. They honor their comapny policy.

They normally wait until any payment has cleared before then doing a final updated deletion of the collection.

It depends upon how quickly the payment is processed, and if clearing of funds is necessary thru any financial institution.

Yes, it is common for a delay between posting of payment and ultimate deletion of their collection.

I dealt with portfolio personally and I Paid them 2/26 They took it out my bank account 3/1 and Removed it 3/30/2019 if that helps.
