AU BALANCE STILL SHOWING

So I had myself removed from a CC that my parents had back in DEC.

I pulled my CR's here yesterday and saw that my EQ has the balance at zero but my TU has the balance at 11K.  (Note: My EQ is 679 & my TU is 653)  Is that what is causing my TU to be low?  Is a balance showing up correct as well?

If there is a CL and a balance it would affect your score.

Can you contact a CC company yourself and ask them to remove you as an AU or does the account holder have to do this?

It should be the primary holder but I have seen the AU successfully be removed by calling.

Yeah i just called and had myself removed, no issues.

However, there is a CL and a balance showing but on the other two reports they both show zero.  (other two show 11k)

Which i guess is why one score is higher than the other two.

Just seems a bit odd.

Any input would be great.

So after you got yourself removed did you have to dispute with the CRA's to get the TL updated or did it happen automatically?

Are you still an AU on the account reporting the balance?

No they all say "account terminated", but like i said two of them show 11K as balance and one with zero.  I'm thinking thats why the other two scores are a bit lower....

You probably have to wait for it to update to your reports just like you would with any other deletion. Probably around the time the account makes its regular reporting.

Well i had myself removed aroun mid-JAN....so they've had a while to report correctly....

Anybody have an idea how to get balance removed?
