I had an account that was assigned to collections in 2009. I paid in full in 2009.
This account has been removed from my Equifax and Transunion reports recently, but still remains on my Experian report. According to myFICO Q&A: "Collections: Generally, about 7 years, depending on the age of the debt being collected."
Apparently it looks like this account was removed from my EQ & TU reports at these bureaus discretion. Do you think Experian will follow suit shortly?
Its possible the CA requested deletion, in this case EX would remove it . CRAs typically do not go off deleting stuff unless its run the CRTP and if they did remove it for some irregularity you might have to fight to get it off EX for whatever the problem is.

Thanks for your reply. I may call EX and let them know this account was dropped from my EQ & TU reports and ask why they didn't drop it too. Nothing to fight as I expected it to be on all 3 reports for a couple of more years. 2 out of 3 aint bad.
Of course, maybe EX hasn't updated my report yet.
