Accounts charged off but not reporting collections

Hello all!

In the past year, I've settled over $10,000 in collections in an effort to rehab my credit. I now have four accounts left of my original 10+. Original balances add up to a combined $5800, but none of them are officially reporting as collections. Date since charge-off on all of them has been 4 years.

Should I reach out to the companies to try and settle or should I ignore them? Is it possible they could randomly file an official collection at some point in the future even if it's past the legal statute of limitations to sue in my state? (5 years in KY).

Thanks!

Yes reach out to them to settle, if they are reporting a balance they still own them and yes they can send to a collector at ANY time.
