Advice on OLD Judgment

I actually forgot that someone who sold me defective tires and wheels sued me back almost 4 years ago until I was reorganizing my records.

I owe them almost $4750 for a default judgment.

I've never paid a cent. I got the initial amount back from my bank. But I don't have the goods either.

What's the best course for dealing with this? I send in the income proof when they request it. But they have never moved forward to collect.

Don’t poke the bear at this point. What’s the SOL in your state?

Re: Advice on OLD Judgment

What is the separate period of enforceability of civil judgments in your state?

Do you want to pay it, or are you seeking to wait it out, hoping the SOL for enforceabilty expires?
