Amex no inquiry

I applied for an Amex Costco true earnings card 5 days ago. I got the message thanks for replying, they would let know (probably denied). But the strange thing is, I monitor my reports daily no inquiries have showed up for Amex. Has this happened to any of you?

What are you using to monitor your reports?

Also, just because its not an instant approval, doesnt mean that you are denied. I waited once about 30 days to get an acception letter.

I use true credit to monitor. I checked that status website, i'm not there. I'm wondering if the application even went through.
