Another Collection Paid off With Plaza Services. 30 Days to Delete?

Logged onto the Plaza Services site and paid off an old $315 collection. It was reporting via a payday loan, and according to the rep it will come off the Transunion report in 30 days. They use TrueAccord to send friendly notices and all that, but figured pay them direct and see. When I called them, got some rude agent who wasn't too overly friendly, but guessing working at a collection agency isn't fun either. lol. Let's see if it comes off Transunion in 30 days. Will update the post when I find out.

Did you negotiate a pay for delete with Plaza or how is it being removed from CBR? Are they only reporting on one credit bureau? Don’t see much about them on here. I had an account years ago sold to them and never once heard from them, which is weird. Got the Original account deleted from my report so Hoping this doesn’t pop up

I’ve read about them in forums. Just paid it off and followed with a call. They reported as plaza services via loanbyphone so figured pay them directly. Agent said 30 days. Paid ad astra same way and came off so will see

Cross posted but it showed as a paid collection but no deletion. Will follow up with them asap.

Ok...give them 30 days and see if it's taken off. Sometimes the status will update twice before it's removed

I recently did PFD with plaza and the collection came off but didn’t see a score increase, did you have a score increase after delition?
