Anybody have a good Midland Credit Management Email?

Hello All -

I'm back on the forums after years away.  Went through a rough period in 2015 and managed to maintain most of my relationships, but had a Lowes account charge off.  Midland has it now and it's in a pre-legal status.  I'm in a healthier spot now and in a position to handle it.  I tried to call and do the standard 40% settlement that they agree to all the time, but my account manager isn't working with me at all.  They initially offered a 90% settlement and then backed it down to 75% after talking to his manager, but they won't budge.  The original debt is 10775.  I offered $4000 to settle and then raised to $4500.  They've allowed me to end the call without payment multiple times now rather than take $4500 on debt they probably paid $900-$1000 to secure.  When I call back they always tell me I have an account manager and force me to speak to the same team that won't flex.

Thoughts?

Anybody have an email or contact list so I can fire off a few emails?  Please shoot me a PM.  I'd think they'd be happy to take 45-50% on a debt that they've had for nearly three years now.

Thanks in advance!

Do you know if the debt is still within the SOL, could be an explanation for them playing hard ball.

Re: Anybody have a good Midland Credit Management Email?

It is for another year or so.  I was originally going to just wait them out, but the pre-legal notice got my attention and I'd rather try to work it out than have to deal with it if they actually file suit.

I am not able to send a PM so this will have to do.

Who is Midland Credit Management?

Midland Credit Management, a subsidiary of Encore Capital Group, works with consumers to resolve past-due obligations. Re: Anybody have a good Midland Credit Management Email?

Do you know what the DoFD is, it should be on your credit report?

Re: Anybody have a good Midland Credit Management Email?

It doesn't specifically note the DoFD on the reports I have, but the last payment I made was June 2016.  That said, the account was 30 days or more past due beginning in October 2015.  Every month thereafter reported somewhere between 30 and 120 days past due.  I am a little unclear whether the time began in Oct 15 or sometime later.  I believe the SOL in Florida for revolving debt is 4 years.

Re: Anybody have a good Midland Credit Management Email?

And thanks for the suggested email info.  I've fired off to a handful.  I got some bouncebacks, but hopefully some landed with the right people.

If you have a LinkedIn account you can do a search, type in either company name and then type a title such as "Director" and hit search. You can look at all of the results and get an idea if they are someone you think you should send an email too.
