Anyone have success with any of the companies listed below... I am throwing my baddies out there for public record in hopes of shaming myself into not letting this happen again but living in an expensive area and having one person lose their job for 4+ months makes paying bills TOUGH!! Not an excuse, but when it comes down to keeping a roof over our heads and food in our bellies is more important than being able to make my car payment on time, sadly. (I actually learned and started couponing and was able to reduce our grocery/personal supplies (TP, Paper Towels, Razers, shampoo, body wash, diapers, wipes etc) for a family of 4 from about $1100/mo to $250-300. At this point, and what we will be doing to pay off some bills for the next 2 months, we don't need to shop for anything but milk and fresh fruit... no more than $10/wk!! If you are interested, let me know and I will gladly show you how... Some work is involved but an 80% savings on groceries is worth it to me!
We are looking to buy a home in the next 5 months and I will be the primary on the loan and I need to get things spic-and-span with my credit... I manageged to boost my score 170+ points in 4.5 months, and while I don't expect THAT, getting back to the 700 club or 720 would be IDEAL.
If you have had recent GW success and can point me in the right direction it would be VERY much appreciated.
Here is what I am looking to clean up:
Also, I am trying to figure out reporting timelines for the following companies (How long after your due date do they report your Balance?):
Capital One
NFCU
Discover
Chase
Merrick Bank
GECRB/GAP
Thanks so much for your help!
