Is citi more likely to approve me if I'm an AU for my fathers account with a 0 balance. Perfect history ? Or less likely lol

Citi is tough. They like to see a very good to excellent credit score and few inquires on your report.

Citi has an option on their site to check and see if you may qualify for one of their cards. I'd suggest giving that a shot before risking a hard pull your report. There is no guarantee if they pre-qualify you that you'll get approved, but it is worth a look.

I've done that but I feel like it's not a pre approval it just says simplicity, but it's the mobile version so who knows.
