Asset Acceptance deleted!!

I just checked my TU CR and Asset Acceptance is no longer on there.  I paid a settlement several months ago that I tried to get them to PFD, but they refused.  They did agree to update it as a paid collection, not as paid for less than the original balance which they did.  I sent them a GW several months ago and called a few times, but they still refused.  I decided to wait a few months before trying it again, and I was pleasantly surprised when I checked today.  Woo hoo!

Does the original creditor still show on your report?

No, I believe this was for a T-Mobile account that I had and they had not been reporting on my credit report in quite a while.

Wow. I wish the same for me! My O.C shows a zero balance and says it was sold to another lender. From there Asset Acceptance reports from the same debt! Might be able to get AA to delete but it looks like the OC will still be there (((
