Auto Loan/Repossesion

I had my vehicle repossesed back in 2002.  They sued for the balance and there is a weekly payment being made in the amount of $75.00.  These payments are getting paid through the cosigner.  On my credit report it is getting showed as getting paid to the original creditor.  Since this is getting paid on a regular basis is there any way they can remove this from our credit reports?  Also I get these random letters from the lawyer that they used asking for payment.  Is that allowed if the account is getting paid on?

Re: Auto Loan/Repossesion

Is there also a Judgment on your reports?

I sounds like this is close getting changed to a positive account or being removed (7 years past DOFD)

Yes there is a judgement on my credit report.  Is there any way to get this off since it is getting paid on?  Thanks for any help you can give me.

Re: Auto Loan/Repossesion

A judgment can't be removed just because payments are being made.

The only way a judgment is removed is if it is vacated or past CRTP.
