Just wanted to post this for anyone who needed some motivation, I got a call from Barclays today letting me know they would grant my good will adjustment and remove a 30 day late. It took 1.5 months for it to be granted and I got it after recieving 5+ denial letters over that same period of time from Barclays. Props to the saturation method!!!! Sent 10 letters and 2 emails out for my round 1 to them.
Congrats! That thread has saved many. Keep us updated for data points on the scoring gains after its removed! I got one more yr till my only 30 day falls off. I dont expect much from what I learned here. Newer lates probably make a much bigger difference than my old one.
I'll keep you updated on the score change in the next couple of days but I'm not expecting much since the account is closed. A late is a late though so let's hope for 10+pts

This was for a friend, not myself. My friend recently was 30 days late on his JetBlue Card because the annual fee posted and he missed a payment. It was a 30 day late. He emailed the Executive Office and Barclays called him back saying they are honoring removing the 30 days late payment as a result of the email requesting the removal. The email was straightforward and honest, stating that a mistake was made, understand that it would be a courtesy removal, and auto-payment would be setup in the future.

Thats Great news. Historically speaking, companies are willing to let go that First 30 late if responded timely. I have seen a lot of friends did that.

can you elaborate on your 10 letters? were they sent to 10 different addresses?
I have a 30 day late. I was under the impression i was on autpay. I have sent in 2 letters and gotten denied. Please let me know wall address and emails. thank you!!
