Bankruptcy drop off

My bankruptcy just dropped off my transunion report on the 12th.  My score dropped 10 points when this happened?  Anyone know why it would drop instead of increase?

Are those FICO, VantageScores, or something else?

FICO.  My TU was at 653 then dropped to 643 after the bankruptcy fell off

Re: Bankruptcy drop off

Removal of a derogatory should move you into a different score card.

Have you reviewed your credit reports to see what else is going on?

Do you have other delinquency, derogatory, or high reported utilization that may be suppressing your scores?

Re: Bankruptcy drop off

Yes i am subscribed to my fico with the monthly 3 bureau reports and monitoring.  Nothing negative on my reports and balances dropping every month on all my accounts.  It fell off of my wifes reports also.  She dont have FICO subscription sge just uses credit karma.  Hers dropped also on there by 10 points.

Re: Bankruptcy drop off

Bankruptcy was the only negative/derogatory item on all 3 of my reports

What about your reported utilization?

Something is definitely holding scores down, so I agree with you. If no baddies, it must be high util?

Scores can go down from changing score cards, especially if there are other negative factors, including high utilization.

OP, even if util is going down, it seems like you are not crossing any major thresholds to help your scores?
