Barclays Recon SUCCESS!

As I type this from my brand new MacBook, I am happy to report than thanks to this forum I called the Barclay's recon number after being flat out denied online. Answered a few questions about my income and one question about an old CO and in less than five minutes went from denial to a $2,000 CL! This forum is full of great info!! I never would have thought to call about a reconsideration before. I just thought no meant no.

Starting: EQ 498
Current: EQ 652 (4/24/13) TU 662 (4/22/13) EX 630 (4/12/13)
Goal: over 700 across the board!

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Same happened to me but for a different barclays card. Reconning wasnt as hard as it seemed. Congrats on both the Mac and the approval

I tried to recon for a Barclays NFL card but was still denied...for too many inquires. I only had 6. I'll try again in a year. Glad I'm getting denied for inquires now instead of more serious baddies!
