@shambles2020  As a car rental Buisness owner we do not just run your credit just because. We have to check that for our security. There is alot of risk with giving a car you own and worked very hard to get to someone you don't know at all so we just have to make sure we are giving our car to someone who is responsible. If someone gets hurt too it's a huge hit on us and could possibly make us go bankrupt if we get sued. I have put my blood sweat and tears into my buisness and just think one unresponsible person can ruin it all.

Look at US bank secured cards if you have cash for the security deposit

Amex has "apply with confidence" on some cards, no hard pull to apply, only if you accept. The bce is a good no fee card. They waive the first year fee on bcp. They also offer some hotel and airline cards. 

I've found amex to be generous on credit limits. They have done 3X on clis for me, in as little as 91 days. My bce has grown to $27,000 in 12 months.
