So I had a judgement against me on a old credit card. I settled with the law firm last week and I was hoping to send a goodwill letter to get bank of america to remove from my credit report. I was doing some research and checking my report and BofA is reporting differently to all 3 CRA's. One is even saying last payment made 6/2013 and delinquent on7/2013. This is definitely not the case as I was paying the law firm monthly until I was able to get enough to settle. Is a goodwill the way to go or should I try to dispute the reporting? the amount owed was not incorrect just the tradeline. below is how it reads for trans union and experian. my payoff is not showing yet as I have not updated my credit report again yet since I just paid it off a few days ago. thanks in advance for the help

If they still own the debt, any time you make a payment to the attorney, the attorney has to let them know and they have to update the CR.
Up until you paid off the debt they could report you as late. When did you pay it off?
Ok that makes sense. I just paid it the begining of this week, I was just worried about the BofA tradeline still showing those recent lates onces the report updates. I guess I kind of got ahead of myself and should wait for it to update
