I would list some of the negative things you and her have and see if it can get cleaned up and removed then try.
Do you have credit cards with high balances? Charge off's? Tax lein ( federal or state) ? repos? active collections?
My score was lower than yours and I am now able to get a home loan if I wanted one, but it wouldnt be possible if it wasnt for all the great information here and the help on how to repair and rebuild my credit.
