CA requesting information to find accounts

I emailed AFNI and they responded with being unable to find my account and have requested me to call. I was requesting a PFD, in the hopes they accept.

Imagine Credit Card also is requesting a whole lot of information!!! This credit card is paid and closed years ago. I was only asking for a deletion in GW.

What should i do?

Do not give any information to the CA!.  If they can not find your account, chances are they no longer have it.  I would send them a DV letter and put the burden of proof on them.  If they have nothing on you, they must delete the account from your CR.

If it is the OC that is requesting the information it would be alright.  If it has been that long they may no longer have any information on you.

These are two different accounts, correct?

It is ok to provide an OC with information, not a CA.

Did you send a GW to have it removed?  If they need the information to find the account then yes, by all means give it to them.

The account is paid and closed so they can not come after you for anything.

The Imagine is paid and closed. The AFNI, isnt. I had sent them a PFD.

I would send AFNI a DV letter.  It doesn't matter that you already requested a PFD.  If they need information from you to find the account I doubt they can validate it.

In the DV letter, send it to the address on your CR and only put the account number.  No other information.  Do type a signature block, just hand sign it.

I'm guessing AFNI holds the remainder of the below acct, right?  What is the date it's due to drop?  This date must match the date of the Imagine acct.

What is Imagine asking for?  It seems they no longer have your info in their system.  Was this acct Paid Fully? Or only in part & the rest sold to a CA?

According to the OP these are two separate accounts.  One is paid and closed, the other is not.
