Cach llc will negotiate. Be sure to get their offer in writing before paying them and KEEP IT... twice I've settled for 25% of debt owed and two years later they come after me again claiming it was a payment that brought the account current (renewing SOL).
Both times I submitted the offer letter (copy of it) and a copy of the cleared payment and receipt; after which they drop suit.
In my experience (and from a rep during last negotiation's) 60 days after payment they stop responding to CRA's. My first experience they accepted "pay for delete". My second encounter they told me I would have to pay double the debt for "administrative fees" to delete.
